First world problems, rage inducing items 17:47 - Dec 14 with 1045 viewsCoastalblue

So I have a printer, that I rarely use these days and when i do it always works flawlessly, until I absolutely have to print something, at which point I spend a rage induced hour or so trying to refrain from launching it out of the window while it refuses to print anything.

Every printer I have ever owned, and there's been a few, have been like this.

What's your rage inducing object?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

and I share your anger with printers, and any other inanimate object that does not have a great role in the grand scheme of thing other than to perform the task it is meant to do

but doesn't

The thermostat. Our house is new and so 'smart' I can't figure anything out. Thermostat in particular drives me wild.

You need to be a Bletchley Park codebreaker with the touch of a safe cracker to work ours.

Sky Q, the old sky used to be so simple to find what was on and had been recorded, now it feels like mission impossible to follow on watching a series from the night before or heaven forbid if it currently being recorded, and if you accidentally press a button while your finally watching something it goes right back to the start of the process again , boils my p#ss!

Either it has become overly complicated or just a sign I’m getting old!

No, ordinary stuff is becoming nmore and more (uneccasirly) complicated

Went for a drink with my teenage nephew this summer and after he insisted on sitting down, there were plenty of empty tables, told me would buy. I knew what was coming so went to the bar, bought a pint only to find him pecking away at his tin cuttlefish like a demented budgerigar

To cut it short, I am so old fashioned/out of date....for going to the bar rather than squinting at some screen, before tapping out a morse code message... and then waiting.

My internet and Wi-Fi since moving from my old broadband to Halo5000 or whatever it is.

Apparently the problem is there's communication problems with devices over 3 years old; 2 tvs, bt box, lap top, 4x tablet devices and 4 x mobile phones.

We live in a flat, not the biggest, not the smallest but even on 2nd floor used to be able to pick up the signal sitting on one of the benches outside, now pictures won't load sitting on the bog 4m from the "hub".
When we got the hub we also received a Wi-Fi booster, which we need but didn't previously need.
Oh and that back up EE device in case this superstar Halo line fails.I
3 power hungry devices to replace the one we had previously.
