It’s easy to go all football manager and look at stats. However, KM clearly sees something in Hurst’s style that would work for him. That’s even if he is in for him.

If you are not this guy he is evidently a source of inspiration for you, which doesn't bode well lol given the summary provided to us of twitter Quint. I would want to distance myself from him too! He was the main target of the summer and his current situation points to him maybe being available, so as a layperson he's the player I'd be most confident putting forward at this time if I were to pretend to have knowledge - not saying you are doing this, only that it stands to reason we may circle back to look at him again - were you given a timeframe for when our interest will be reported elsewhere? | | | |

Expect this. Had hoped this. He was our main target in the summer. Be good if we can get an option to buy on him. People doubting the season he’s had really don’t either trust KmC judgement on players (KMC gets the final say “Mark Ashton”) or they don’t understand that sometimes good players don’t always get the rub of the green at clubs for various reasons. |  |
