Broadhead - Quality player. Has added something that we've lacked and looks an upgrade on Harness. Luongo - Loads of Championship experience and is perhaps playing for a contract too. Very shrewd business. The League 1 Jorginho signing. Clarke - From what little I've see, he looks quality. Plays like a younger Micah Richards. Hirst - We've been after him for ages. This is the only one I'm slightly unsure of. However, it seems to have inspired Ladapo to start scoring.
So all in all, a decent transfer window.
I do miss us signing a random like Malacyzk or Moshni though haha!

Couldn't have been much better. The only area where I do feel we aren't the strongest is Centre Backs. Yes we have 4/5 to cover those positions but I feel although they should be adequate this is a position McKenna will have to address if we get promoted especially bearing in mind Keogh will probably retire from a playing role at the end of the season and are the one's left good enough for a league higher ?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I voted no only because there wasn't another option of pleased but also unhappy that we didn't bring in competition for Burns.
That could be Clarke... but so far we've only seen him play Jds role. So if that does only leave Jackson as actual competition for that Position, its not imo good enough.
Hahahahaa.
I was going to suggest it was you - entirely predictable. After smarmy-gate you did well to become a semi-credible poster. Now it’s like you’ve gone back to be driven by that hamster in a wheel that you call your brain.

I'd voted after his post so no it wasn't me at the time.
And it's interesting how you continue to view things when I've been positive lately.

I think Ladapo finding another level since Hirst arrival, has been like a new signing in itself...Wether Freddy can maintain it, remains to be seen. But hopefully Hirst will be up and running by the time Fred has a drop off...Hirst could do with that first goal. There's a few fixtures this month, where you'd feel he'll get the opportunity.

Burns can’t be replaced only covered at this level. He is covered defensively by Clarke and KVY, he is covered offensively by Jackson, Edwards, Harness and KVY and probably Broadhead. There is sufficient competition and squad depth for the time being.
