I don’t know if it’s relevant , but a year or two ago Huddersfield based part of their pre-season training at the Colchester training ground in Tiptree.
(I think the idea is magnificent , and in the first instance Town should ask if they can visit Huddersfield for a game)
Bristol Rovers wasn’t he? Either way a round robin tourney in honour of him would be fantastic.
He played for Bristol Rovers and was a stand-out player that attracted Huddersfield to buy him. His heart is with Bristol City as he and his family were/are City supporters. Him signing for City at the end of his career was a local boy coming home story in the Bristol local paper.

Not forgetting that Marcus Stewart's first career goal came for Rovers against us in that opening day 3-3 draw in the 91/92 season, I believe.
