We controlled that game today 17:44 - Feb 11 with 1424 views | gtsb1966 | Yet came away with 1 point. So fragile at the back. Nobody beats Ipswich, we beat ourselves....again and again. What we need to find out is whos fault it is and why.

We were the better side, not much granted, even in the first half. So poor in defence though.

We had 20 minutes of madness. Controlled the other 70. Played our best football of the season in the second 45.

Shape rather than personnel was the issue today. And why go with a defence who had never played as a unit before, against one if not the best team in the league? Should have been Donacien at right back with Woolfenden and Burgess or Clarke with Keogh and Edmundson. In fairness, they looked settled and put in a much better performance in the second half but in the first half they were at sixes and sevens, as were the entire team. As I said on another thread, it was looking like we were trying to play 2-4-3-1 at times.

We controlled that game today on 18:04 - Feb 11 with 1183 views | BOBD | Some of the delusion on here is cringeworthy. We needed two direct free kicks to score against them. They defended resolutely and showed why they’ve been so good defensively. They scored twice from open play and arguably the best two other chances of the match fell to Smith and Flint. Smith certainly should’ve made it 3-0.
We controlled that game today on 18:04 - Feb 11 with 1184 views | Meadowlark | Nonsense. We were clueless for 40 minutes. SW were better than us in every department. They bossed us, the ref and the crowd. We did well to turn it around in the second half, but even when we were on top we weren't ruthless enough and still too ponderous and slow. But......the second half was the best we have played for a while. On to Bristol. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Agreed, probably should have been chasing 0-3. Glad we don't have to play them again, they're tough opposition. If we could defend like them we'd be.in business.
We controlled that game today on 20:34 - Feb 11 with 832 views | RegencyBlue | We controlled the second half but were bloody awful for most of the first. Moore is absolutely right when he said the turning point was Wednesday somehow fluffing the opportunity to go three up. At that point heads were going down on the pitch and the home crowd were ready to turn! Typical game of two halfs in the end.

Errr, both their goals ultimately came from free kicks, with excellent execution from them (especially the first goal) and where we were dozing.

We didn't control the game, but suggesting our goals are less worthy than theirs is more delusional than the OP

They are direct at times but also play decent stuff. Bannan is outrageously too good for this league. I think he assisted their 2nd with such smart play. Their defense are big, strong and imposing. Their keeper looks good too. I think they'll sail up if they play like that against most of this league as they are the perfect combination of big and strong but with loads of quality.
