I'm not saying it's time, but McKenna is massively overrated 20:01 - Feb 11 with 1464 views | NeedhamChris | For the vast majority of the season so far we've been below playoff form, and it's the first 6/7 games of the season that's preventing us from being out the top 6. On the budget we have, he's massively underachieving right now and needs to turn it around yesterday. Football is better, but he's not the Messiah some treat him as. Not yet anyway. For half a season we were automatic promotion form, and its only the last 6/7 games that's preventing us from being top two. Assess his season when we've played 46 (or more) games.

I'm not a fan of 3/4 of the season so far being below playoff level...no

"Massively underachieving" or just underachieving? Given we aren't out of the promotion race until we finish 7th or lose in the playoffs. It seems in line with "massively overrated" and you have to question how you measure that and by who? It's undoubted Ashton has vast experience as a football businessman, that the brass at Man United wanted to keep McKenna around etc. So what exactly constitutes "massively overrated"? You seem to prove the age old myth about style being paramount when it really comes down to levels of entitlement and patience amongst fans. It's what cost us under Mick and will do again if allowed to creep in again.

Look at the form table on TWTD for the past 23 games. We're 7th on that. So yes, that start is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

I'm not saying it's time, but McKenna is massively overrated on 20:19 - Feb 11 with 1258 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | I think some underestimate just how tough this job is. McKenna took us over on the back on 3 failed league one seasons. In that time he’s turned us from a team that at this point wasnt even competing for top 6. To a team in 3rd. Has this season been perfect. No. Does he have a lot to learn. Of course he does. But he has made huge progress. Money is no guarantee of success, and this squad needed that level of investment and luckily we have the means to do it. But putting all of this on the manager is so lazy. McKenna didn’t miss a penalty today. McKenna didn’t miss the golden opportunity’s at Oxford I could go on. McKenna is not overrated at all, he’s a bright young coach who is doing a good job. I’m happy he’s learning with us as I think the ceiling is very high.

We don't drop "way below" until the past 3 months though and then we go from 9th - 13th when we all know things have gone wrong from the virus issues onwards. So that doesn't quite paint the picture you want it to either. I'm struggling to see where you've put anything down that's well thought out here beyond the obvious, that we're all pissed off to no longer be top and the gap isn't closing any more.
