The expectation is promotion, very clearly, and the spend in January reinforced that.
Not finishing in the top 2 (which we won't) will be a minor failure. Failing to even get into the playoffs would be a disaster.
I'm seeing an increasing number on here reason that because we were sh1t for the last 3 seasons we should be pleased that we're better than that, but for me that just isn't acceptable at all.
I'm not over entitled, in fact I've shouted down plenty of doomsters on here previously, and I'm not of the mindset that McKenna should go unless we absolutely collapse over the rest of the season, but this isn't good enough at the moment and it needs to improve fast. |  |

Hello.
Tbh. Whilst yes I've been quite negative for a while... I never really believed it would continue to be this bad for as long as it has.
People said to me we had injuries etc. It was true. But we've run out of excuses now. I genuinely don't know what he can do to stop this downward trend.
I'm puzzled by some of his 2nd half changes. Almost feels abit like chuck everyone on and hope for the best rather than earlier season thought out changes. |  |

Our budget this year was geared towards automatic - without doubt, the failure to make this will have McK (and Ashton) under pressure from Mark Steed and his merry gang.

McKenna and the team are badly underperforming and I wouldn’t put money on us even making the playoffs currently.
Our performances are increasingly disjointed and poor. I’ve been saying McKenna would be here next season whatever happens but if this carries on, for the first time, I’m not so sure! |  | | |

You are 100% right, but our current form, (just 4 league wins since November 19th), would indicate at current, that we are going to miss out on the play offs too.

Lambert got sacked having won 6 of his last 15. Our awful start under Cook returned 5 wins in the first 15.
We currently have 4 wins in 15, but yes, I'm glad we've moved on so much from those dark days. Still, at least we draw lots. |  | | |

We should fully expect us to miss out on the play offs at this rate.
McKenna doesn't appear to be able to arrest the current trend; if anything we look increasingly less likely to win against whoever we play as the weeks go by.
