Really hope we don't see multiple changes tonight on 10:52 - Mar 7 with 1280 views | itfcjoe | It's our last midweek game of season so thinks make sense to rest anyone with a knock. Leif Davis obviously went off at weekend, and know we've been managing Nathan Broadhead carefully so may be worth giving Greg Leigh a game as he can deal with Accrington physicality as well; plus Marcus Harness for NB. Then you'd expect Hirst in for Ladapo, but wouldn't want any more than those 3 assuming Luongo got through game ok on Saturday and nothing else we don't know about

Really hope we don't see multiple changes tonight on 11:02 - Mar 7 with 1205 views | clive_baker | I think there will be changes. I think we might see both fullbacks drop out for Leigh and JD. Such a physically demanding role and Davis and Clarke will be vital at Bolton. Of course there's a big job to do tonight first, and however you cut it it's a downgrade, particularly on the left. Not to discredit GL or JD but with LD in particular they're massive boots to fill. Frankly I've not seen anyone in the division better in that position. That might be one taken out of our hands anyway given the knock he took. Hirst probably comes in for Ladapo. Wouldn't think Broadhead will start again tonight, might be Chaplin + 1 (Harness?) with Broadhead replacing Chaplin at some point. Luongo to start if he's OK, otherwise CH in for him. I was surprised to see Burns play the full 90 on Saturday given the game was over at half time, was fully expecting to see him taken off for Jackson.

I can see Hirst for Ladapo and Leigh for Davis if needed - although sounded like a kick rather than anything else so hopefully he can play. Broadhead is a big upgrade on Harness for me and hopefully he can do an hour again. We should have enough to beat Accrington regardless but we don't want to be exerting a load of energy/chasing the game in the last half an hour still needing a goal. [Post edited 7 Mar 2023 11:04]

Resting Davis makes sense but I’m uneasy with too many other changes. This is the business end of the season.

We'll need both for the last 10 as much as possible. Rotation for the sake of it is annoying, but not overloading players in a three-game week is wise.

I'm in agreement...Deal with what is in front of us..Dont look too far ahead..I think we've lost a lot of fluidity (And points) this season, through messing around with our line up.... If we learned anything at all from Rovers away, then surely, its to get the job done without trying to be too clever with rotation and resting players.. That said, there's no excuses for dropping points, tonight, should we rotate. But we could put unnecessary pressure on ourselves, if we don't make a breakthrough before the hour mark, through playing a weakened side...

Yep. One game at a time. I don’t buy into looking at certain games as “easy” so we can focus on supposedly tougher games such as Bolton. We’ve been in League 1 long enough to know it doesn’t quite work like that. Go strong tonight then worry about Saturday. Also somewhat amazed that there’s talk of Luongo and Broadhead not being able to play 3 games in a week.

Leigh for Davis I'm ok with, if he's still sore...But personally would prefer us to go strong for first 60 minutes to get it done.. Then protect, Broadhead, Luongo etc.. But.......In KM we trust..

Not sure I'd want to swap both full backs for less threatening ones and remove 2 of our 3 current regular scorers. Feels like a few changes too many.
