Gold card for Cheltenham away 21:59 - Mar 12 with 2168 viewstractordownsouth

Are there any gold card members who aren’t going to this one that would possibly be able to sort me out with a ticket?

It’s one of my closest away trips but with it being April I can’t see it getting anywhere near silver membership. Not sure when tickets will come out but can’t be too long.

If anyone’s able to help out, please drop me a PM and we can sort out payment.

Cheers

It should be a letter game as well as GC.

I hope so.

It always seems unfair to me that people who have season tickets, gold cards and go to a lot of away games might miss out to someone who uses another fans gold card for just one game.

If I lived in Ipswich i’d 100% have a season ticket and gold card and I do often go to longer away trips like Bolton this weekend but it’s frustrating not to be able to get tickets to the 3 or 4 closer games a season. I’ve asked a few times on here for tickets but I try to be mindful not to take the piss too much, maybe a couple of times a season, so won’t be asking for a ticket to Fleetwood or anything like that.

I can see it from your point of view as well though, hopefully we can both get a ticket.

Agree with this. Me and my partner are gold card holders but she's 8 and a half months pregnant so we're not travelling much now.

I sometimes worry that I'm being a bit mean by not offering my GC number, but I just feel like it's helping others to queue jump so I tend not to.

Selfishly I probably should, as I assume tickets bought with my GC would count towards our priority for games that go to letters?

That’s not selfish, it’s good planning

I’m actually excited for the possible fallout/tears for fleetwood tickets (if there’s anything on that game)

Wonder how many games would be needed for a letter (given our away followings this year)? 10+?

Not many Champ clubs give more than Derby....

No thats true, but i was talking more about the smaller grounds in this league like cheltenham, fleetwood forest green etc. There will still be games in the championship that it will be hard to get tickets for but its a sign that our club is being successful so i guess id rather it be that way....even tho its frustrating!

Got to be atleast 10 hasnt it, maybe even 12.

IMO they need to start looking at this now (likely they already are) and work out who has been to what. There will be 250/350 that have done 85%, and them guys/gals should absolutely get one, then maybe do 65% and so on.

If I miss out based on that then so be it, I think I have 12 aways under belt. But if a higher % have attended more they absolutely deserve it over me

I think I'm on 10 that I purchased through ITFC.

Annoyingly, I bought my Bracknell ticket directly from them.

I'm in the same boat with Bracknell, wouldn't that just be typical to miss out by that game?

I sent a mates Plymouth ticket back as he couldn’t make it, turns out it was the one they’d allocated to me, so I’ve had it scraped off my record!
They’ve said if needs be they’d amend manually for me

Also Cambridge. Would definitely have gone if I had been able to get tickets. Failed even with a gold card.

I understand from a chat I had with MA after Cambridge that this was a very real possibility.

I've been to 17, although Cambridge doesn't count as I had a players tickets as couldn't get online. The lad has been to 12 so hopefully that will be enough for him to get a ticket if they do a letter system as he's desperate to go.
