On the 94th minute last night a couple of fans near me left...

I mean wtf is wrong with you? Fck the traffic, it was literally the most important 2 minutes of our season and you are worrying about a few minutes longer in the car park ffs

Let me let you into a secret, when we win games like that, 90% of fans hang around to applaud the team off and for some fist pumping...so it ain't going to make that much difference!

To each their own but I wasn't missing a second last night.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Another taking it personally.

How do you know that person in the crowd was saying FFS at you leaving early? Maybe he was saying it at your stupid haircut.

Because my son is autistic and hates the cramped crowds all trying to get out at the same time, both getting out of the stand and ground outside. Good enough reason? Assume I get a pass for that one.

I can think of a few occasions when I’ve left early. The hammering by Sheffield Weds when Carlton Palmer walked through our whole team at the end of Lyall’s time. I left a few mins before the end. At 4-1 or 4-0, I was done. Finished.

Once against Spurs when Cundy scored from the half way line - I had to miss the last 20 mins as I was picking Mrs C up from Harwich. The other time was against Forest when my dad felt unwell at half time. The score line didn’t help!

By and large I stay to the end, including the fiascos against Norwich Wimbledon and others. When I go to a game, I go to the game, not 95% of it. But I understand why some want to get away. Up to them but they do miss out sometimes. The 10 man Sheffield Utd comeback being just one example.
