Yes. Got my jeans ripped climbing the bloody fence at the end.
I monkeyed right up the fence, jumped off the top and ran around on the pitch like a loon. Johnny Lyall had to come back out to tell us all to bogger off.

Great times, that and the Sarfend game are two of my favourite away day memories.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
I wish I had been. I’d seen the run in games bar Sunderland but I had to work that Saturday morning. Not sure I’d have got a ticket anyway given the demand (assuming it was all ticket). Ahh the joy when the result came through. Very dusty day!

Super Jim? Wow, I never clocked that at all!
Me neither. But when you watch the clip and see his body shape when he strikes that ball, it can only be Jim.
On a separate note, I also hadn't realised that big Phil Whelan was the prototype for one of Paul Whitehouse's Fast Show characters (at 0:50). Brilliant!
