So you're, for whatever reason, refusing to admit that Chelsea fans, back in the day, caused disorder both at home and away? What happened at Heysel was awful but that stadium was a tragedy waiting to happen. Liverpool fans have caused trouble, as have fans of most of the bigger English clubs, not forgetting those following the national team, who played in Europe during the 70s and 80s. Heysel didn't happen BECAUSE it was Liverpool fans involved. It would have likely happened if Chelsea were playing that day.

Absolutely pathetic rhetoric in that post. Outstanding even for you. As I said, never their fault...

"It's never their fault" is a hateful phrase levelled at Liverpool fans from those never wanting to accept no one else was responsible except them for the deaths of the 97 a t Hillsborough. Perhaps you're outing yourself as one of those? I'm not sure I've heard it linked to Heysel, which was a terrible incident. I think it's well documented that Liverpool were certainly culpable for much of the unrest in the stadium that night. I just think your use of that phrase is nothing more than being inflammatory. Why the hate?
Because if you'd seen the things I'd seen, notably their fans persistently turning up at Chelsea, ticketless and trying to push in two at a time through the turnstiles - you might also find the ensuing self indulgent pity party a bit jarring too. Happens every time they have one of these issues, which bizarrely seems to be fairly more frequently than other clubs...

So presumably you don't agree with the opening paragraph in the Foreword of the Report of the Hillsborough independent panel that states:
"The disclosed documents show that multiple factors were responsible for the deaths of the 96 victims of the Hillsborough tragedy and that the fans were not the cause of the disaster. The disclosed documents show that the bereaved families met a series of obstacles in their search for justice."
Seems to me that they were indeed the victims.
Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Quite clearly my disgust at ticketless fans turning up to everything there after hillsborough.
You’d think they better than anyone would understand the issue overcrowding can cause. Yet they persist time and time again.
