Nodge transfer dealings…. 07:02 - Jun 23 with 3541 views | ArnieM | They seem to be embarking once again on bringing in foreign imports. They seem to have gone the foreign player route for a while now. But does/ has it really served them well?

Indeed. Three UK based players, two English. Not sure that really constitutes them targeting foreign players. I imagine like many clubs they will be having a look at the overseas market as well but their business so far has been to buy experienced pros who know English football.

I don't care who they sign bottom line any decent player they will sell and replace with free or low cost players the parachute money is slowly 🌠coming to a end the owners aren't rich enough and Webber is jumping ship all in all I'm happy we are going to be the dominant side in these parts it's coming.

Absolutely ðŸ‘. I watched About narwich last night and they went out interviewing the locals. One brain cell between them all wasn’t evident. They seriously believe we are done sub standard League One side and will present no problem for them.

So that's three players from England, one from overseas, and one possible from overseas? Not sure that suggests they are mainly targeting foreign imports.

To be fair, the have been targeting South America, and have two scouts based in the region. Norwich signed Sara and Nunez last season, both of whom were considered a success. From the OP, the Chilean they are set to sign is for their development squad, the other two players are links not signings. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

We should be relatively competitive against Norwich next season but I also expect them to be a better proposition than they were in 2022-23 — so some of the crowing I've seen should definitely be dialled down til we see how things settle.

To their supporters, anyone not born and raised with webbed toes and extra fingers is a 'foreigner'.

Thought they’d had quite a few overseas players in their squad over the last 3-4 years. Is that big the car? I know I read somewhere they’ve now got scouts in South America . That would suggest to me they’re looking further afield . Are we, do I know?

Two more foreign players announced by them ruddy Herb. I’d say they are looking abroad : certainly more than us it appears .. maybe we might need to to get players in at reasonable prices.
