Havertz isn’t really an out & out striker. He played there for Chelsea last season because they inexplicably let Lukaku go and had no other options after Borja’s injury so Havertz ended up playing there.
Before Chelsea he played across the front line, as a second striker or playing off the wing so it is interesting to see how he does there as he could be an option to cover all the front 4 positions.. which is why Arteta has spent big. He’s still quite young so could end up as good business

Arteta going for it Rice and Havertz.. £170m on 21:52 - Jun 28 with 1327 views
Havertz was one of the best young players in the world before going to Chelsea. He played largely in the 10 position at Leverkusen before Chelsea decided he was a number 9. He only turned 24 a couple of weeks ago and will prove to be a quality signing if Arsenal find a way to integrate him in his best position.

£105m for a defensive midfielder!
Ridiculous sum, but I suppose you have an out and out starter for the next 5 years providing he doesn't get injured or suffers a drastic loss of form. You can build a team around him.
