I think it is more a case of the amount of overs to be bowled 7.30 is the maximum time to bowl those overs.

Not sure what they are doing. Just giving away runs which England do not have the necessary ability to catch tomorrow. Keep the bowling tight, these are tail-enders and wickets will fall. Trying to bowl them out at the expense of runs when it will put England in this late in the evening is questionable, at least. | | | |

I'm not sure the Aussies will be that happy, and I may the the optimistic optimist but I think we are favourites for this now, of course we'll make it tough on ourselves but I really do think we'll win. |  |

Yep. I think we’re favourites from here, but as you say it’s perfectly plausible that we’re 100/4 and the target starts to feel a long way off.
Didn’t really buy the not wanting to bat tonight thing. The consequence of that was more runs on the chase. We look perfectly capable of giving wickets away regardless of the conditions, the key thing for me is the absolute target we’re chasing and at 250 we’ve got a good shot.
We need one of these openers to stick around and score a 50+ which won’t be easy on this track but that’ll be the difference. | | | |
