It's not (just) the winning, it's everything about the club now.
There's a style in how we play that's perfectly in keeping with the club that I know.
Off the pitch, I can't speak highly enough about the likes of Seb Norton or Lee Smith in the work they've done to support the fans.
The fanzone is vibrant and engaging.
Literally, if they could find someone to pour a decent pint in the SAR Lower, I think life would be pretty much perfect.

As I mentioned in the 'View from my seat' thread, there was one poor lad on a kiosk in the SAL who couldn't pour a pint if his life depended on it.
Felt sorry for him, as he was being given 'on the job' training on a capacity match-day when he really should have been given the training during the week.
Aside from that, yes, you're right EVERYTHING else is brilliant.

Agree 100%.
It's the constant looking to improve that I notice. Little things like the bar in the fanzone, which is now on the longer side of the marquee. I counted 12 people serving drinks, supported efficiently by the pourers behind. The queue was long but moved along quickly. |  | | |

I think that's where we'll need patience. It's continuous improvement but won't happen overnight. When we stop and think how far we've come in little over 2 years from 11th in L1, no direction, no clear strategy and with a squad full of dross. To sitting top of the Championship, one of the best young managers in the country, an engaged and driven squad with quality additions. Plus all the stuff off the pitch, it's amazing. More of the same over the next 2 years please! | | | |

Was he called Sid? Bar under The West stand in 90's/early 00's, used to have maybe 30 pints ready for half time, simple queuing system round a barrier, no scrum, boom, everyone happy, pints shifted. | | | |

Totally agree that the whole club is so much more professional.
Bizzarely sorting out the catering and bars should be straightforward, however they've been woeful for years. Beer can be easily be pre-poured five minutes before half time. (as is the case in theatres) this would ease the mad rush at the start of half time. They are also staffed by youngsters who I feel have never set foot in a pub. It's not their fault, but they need proper training in manning a bar. It's not the same as selling ice creams or pies!! |  | | |
