It has to be remember that we have just come up from Division One. Nobody truly knows how all these players will do in this division. It is a learning process and whilst impatience in reaching the Holy Grail of the Premier League may be the case in some it is no good doing a Norwich City and being a yo-yo club because eventually the luck runs out. The players who move on as quite often the bones of the carcuss are picked when a club is demoted have to be replaced and as Town have found out in their past you can't replace a decent player with just anyone. So it's better to consolodate, maybe added a couple more, but leave any big addition in the January window if we look like there's a chance of Premier League football. | | | |

It's clear summer transfers have gone pretty poorly for us, considering the club were identifying the ones they wanted in March/April time. Ashton himself was almost promising 2 or 3 signings about 3 weeks ago. We also don't seem to want to panic and the squad has started as well as it could, so at what point do we just save it for Jan. |  |

The problem with modern football is people are addicted to signings. I’d much rather see a team more or less stay as a core for 6-7 years with new players coming in who are absolutely necessary rather than signed for a local newspaper headline. |  | | |
