Team for Tomorrow - options - Williams available 16:26 - Dec 1 with 2029 views | unstableblue | The decision points are: Broadhead/Harness (the latter looks much sharper at the moment, but Broadhead still delivered) Burns/Omari - unlikely as Burns was back to his best, and with no midweeker, doubtful Luongo/Taylor - Mass-I-Mo was imperious Weds, is this a game too soon? Taylor is pushing Burgess/Edmudson - I think Coventry have slightly changed up front, so less on the floor with pace, more direct - so expect Cam to continue Wolfie/Axel - Our Man U starlet was excellent, and is clearly gaining fitness, but we don't want to push him.. i'd bring in The Wolf Clarke/Williams - I like Clarke, he was improved Weds, I'm not sure it was a performance that deserved all the plaudits received, and I'd still bring in Williams So Hladky Williams Wolf Burgess Leif Morsy Luongo Burns Chaplin Broadhead (so close to Harness) Hirst

Team for Tomorrow - options - Williams available on 16:39 - Dec 1 with 1959 views | pointofblue | Regarding Tuanzebe and Woolfenden, I think it’s getting to the point where you name the games where we need higher quality (on paper) at the back, pencil in Tuanzebe, and then play Woolfenden in the matches around them. I can’t help but think McKenna got it wrong this week - Tuanzebe and Luongo should have played at West Brom, with Woolfenden and Taylor coming in for Millwall. Coventry have good attacking players so I’d argue Tuanzebe should start, but after playing in midweek it may be too much for him. Unless, of course, he ever considers playing them together and dropping Burgess, or even switching to a back three for some games (can’t see it unless we go on a bad run).

Team for Tomorrow - options - Williams available on 16:58 - Dec 1 with 1900 views | BigCommon | Our best eleven, atm. for me... Hladky Leif, Burgess, Axel, Williams, Mass', Morsy. Broadhead, Chaplin, Burns, Hirst.. Whether KM rotates, or if anyone is actually carrying a knock, is another question... I'd rather see us go for the win with our best available 11 starting. Start off flying out the blocks. Get points in the bag, and deal with the next game afterwards...

Think Woolfenden/Tuanzebe is probably the CB pairing when Burgess goes to the Asia Cup in January. If that works then Burgess may find it tricky to get back into the starting line up when he gets back.

That's what I would go with. Axel and Burgess look pretty solid. Wolfy may feel a bit hard done by, but we have to play our best X1 for the game ahead. Confident that McKenna will go with that line up.

I'm hoping and expecting it may well be Baggot and Axel Baggot is vey highly rated, was not sent out on loan, and was superb in the cup. And critically he's left sided, Wolfie and Axel are both right sided

Agree Coventry are really in a false position in the league, and their form is improving. He's a good manager and has spent significant fees in the summer, so gelling may be complete Plus they will be well backed by 2000 Coventry fans. Hope our home support tuns up, was lacking in the cold on Weds.

Team for Tomorrow - options - Williams available on 17:50 - Dec 1 with 1743 views | GlasgowBlue | Harness is contributing really well from the bench. Something he struggled to do last season. So stick with Broadhead. Burns to start is a no brainer. Again, Hutchinson off the bench running at a tired defence is a fantastic option, whether we are winning, losing or drawing. Luongo to start. If two games in three days is too much then Taylor can come on at any sign of tiredness. Burgess of Edmundson. No issue with either starting. Agree with you that we need to ease Axel in. So Woolf to start. But no problem if KM starts Axel. Williams to start if fit. No reflection on Clarke, but he's still managing a lng trm injury. My line up the same as yours.

Don't think we've seen Hutchinson at all as the left sided 10. He's been used a bit as the Chappers 'central 10' a bit more lately I think.

Would be a big shout to throw Baggot in like that. But you have to start somewhere.

Wonder what Woolfenden will.make.of no longer being part of the best XI? McKenna has certainly alluded to it in the interview, basically saying only fitness concerns will prevent Tuanzebe from starting tomorrow.

Axel been here since August... So it was just a matter of time.. It's a squad game, they all know that and have to stay switched on, for when they are called upon... I doubt they even refer to "a best eleven"... Mostly referred to as "the group"..

My theory is that KMc is getting Axel match fit on his preferred right side, but could potentially play him on the left.

Team for Tomorrow - options - Williams available on 09:59 - Dec 2 with 1217 views | NthQldITFC | Sounds like Cov might play a deep counter attacking style if the article in the Star is accurate, plus how we destroyed Millwall first half in the space they left us. If so, might be a game that suits Hutchinson from the start, but it would be a big move given how excellent Burns was. Great to have such 'difficult' decisions, but it's still Burns for me, although maybe an early intro for Hutchinson if we're not winning. On a similar theme, definitely a Broadhead start on the other side.
