Perhaps with so many mugs buying Town TV subscriptions they will talk the talk and keep the ground as it is whilst maximising income from the ‘visitor experience’? The most profitable outcome from a short trip to the Prem would be a surge in subscriptions to create the illusion of free money to anyone prepared to buy in at no extra cost.
As the carpetbaggers have put more in than they intended I very much doubt they will take on major expense when their tactic has always been ‘added value’ to lure people buying in - as per the effort in Phoenix.
Stand development in a backwater like Ipswich hasn’t had a good outcome in the last 40 years - I suspect now the club is in the hands of opportunists they will talk big and do next to nothing - which I almost certainly the right approach. |

Gamechanger is not only the best thing to happen to us since the early 2000s but also the best thing for the town, which much as I love it, always feels like it's going a bit more downhill every time I visit. Most town centres are struggling anyway, but ours might be about to get the sort of outside investment/planning revamp that others can only dream of. |  |

SO there could be a number of plans.
Radically you could potentially see a "bowl style" stadium built on the existing cattlemarket carpark adjacent to the ground (noting Ashton's remark regarding having back to town).
Personally I think we will see build onto the carpark to some degree to provide a conference and events centre that meets the 365 days a year usage (combined with a hotel).
The Upper new tier for the Cobbold could be built behind and totally independent from the existing stand and therefore have no impact on the current footings. This would allow full use of stand during season with the roof being removed and tiers joined during the off season.
Timing would be based upon cementing place in EPL and maybe European qualification. |  |

I think the Cobbold plan will be executed as soon as we’re promoted to the PL and it’ll be the main stand with the directors box, tunnel and dressing rooms within. |

I think those plans are shelved or on hold given the clubs ongoing discussions about the land around the ground. The car park was last mentioned prior to our takeover then nothing has been said since. I fancy the pool is the same deal and they will end up building it somewhere else. |  | | |

The multi storey car park would face the town - which is not, I believe, the desired effect. I imagined the new Cobbold being built across Portman Rd, well into the car park and 'greeting' fans as they arrive from the town/Curve. Of course, there currently stands an office block in the way.
On the continent they build underground car parks, obviously leaving the surface for more practical/aesthetic purposes.
