Seems like we've got "it was burgess's fault" vs "it was hladky's fault" vs "it was clarke's fault" on this thread. All three could have done better therefore a thread solely blaming clarke is a little unfair (again). |

Not so concerned about Clarke, but am concerned if Sinclair Armstrong plays for QPR again in their next fixture. Guy did our defence most of the game for strength and pace. Could be a torrid time for our back line. |  |

He’ll get blamed for this, but it was Burgess stepping out and completely being done that lead to Woolf and Clarke having to move over. Burgess has to take the ball or at least the man there. |
Having had a chance to see this again, I agree. Sitting in the lower north I thought it was Clarke all day long. However from a better angle I see what you mean.
So, entirely wrong on this one. Still think the right side is a bit defensively shaky but the goal wasn't really on Clarke. | |

Maybe look at those who stepped out creating the gap he needed to fill inside? Or the our right mid that could have dropped back to help?

He got better as the game went on yes, but the opening period which was when I posted my post, he wasn't tracking the 25 time and time again and imo that's more to blame than Clarke with this one. BUT it's a collective as I said too as 3/4 town players all involved in it, but everyones quick to blame clarke, when captain Morsy is excused. |  |

QPR fans have lost all patience with Dykes up front but very few believe Armstrong's the answer to their problems:
"Well we see alot less of him than these 5 Managers have and I can tell you he has poor ball control, can't hold the ball up, has limited ball skills to beat a man (other than pushing the ball past him and trying to out-run him like U12's football) has poor positional awareness and is almost always off-side."
