Striker search.. 09:31 - Jan 15 with 8119 views | IPSWICHFANITFC | There's been some names popping about but for me, there's only 3 strikers that probably fit within budget that I'd be happy with if we got them. Sam Gallagher - though my big concern is he's just returned from a long injury on Saturday Will Keane - who would be my first choice Kieffer Moore - hasn't played much football the last 6 months All 3 fit the profile for the striker role. All 3 can do the same job as Hirst, maybe better.

Have you heard about Mendy, too?
Striker search.. on 09:03 - Jan 16 with 1305 views | CityBlue | Having completed some analysis I would suggest Gallagher is the best fit and even a possible upgrade on Hirst. He has a great presence in the air, can hold the ball up well, distributes from his target man position and also has the knack of knowing where the goal is. Not the most prolific of goal scorers but his input to goals is tremendous.

Would definitely take him, fits the Hirst mould to a tee. Doubt we'd be able to prize him away from Boro though.

Would enable a nice (if perhaps overly aggressive) Pioneers/Specials-based chant of "Langstaff - kick de f**ker!"

Just looked on Twitter - Sam Gallagher being linked strongly by many sources. Thinking Travis being here would help with any deal. anyone else we can raid while we're there - must be a 3 for 2 offer
