Not sure why they would accept the free transfer even with potential add-ons unless they have someone else coming in and would be back to leaving him out of their squad.

On a free it looks pretty decent business. Another experienced head, someone who is match fit and in form, and gives us cover in an area where we don't have too much. Not sure why Wednesday would let him go for nothing though.

Maybe way off here.

But.. weren't the league or the pfa investigating the way he was treated when not registered? Could it possibly be linked with that? ( are they facing any charges for it?)

Since he’s been brought back into the team he’s been one of their best performers apparently. At the very least I would expect a small fee to be asked for.

From a Wednesday perspective it doesn’t makes much sense but then not a lot does at that club!
