The battle for the play-offs heating up - Cov v Bristol 17:08 - Jan 30 with 2898 views | unstableblue | Firstly expect Leicester to go 10 points clear tonight having played one game more, Swansea not good enough to get something at the King Power. But the play-offs really are a battle royale. 10 teams still having a chance?! Including even our weekend opponents Preston? They are 4 points off. But from WBA down to Cardiff it’s tight. Bristol in that group. But would need to start a run when they tonight face the in form team Coventry, away from home. Coventry having beaten Leicester and Boro in a run of 5 wins and 1 draw, only matched by a ballistic Southampton. To be honest for me the contenders are: West Brom Coventry Sunderland Hull Norwich Watford Boro Vying for the last two play-off slots. All capable. And Coventry are building real momentum. Suspect it might even stay as WBA and Coventry. Why it matters for Town is that we may well play one of them!! If automatic is not achieved. Who do you think will make the top 6? Too early to tell? Is this post pointless?

Agree and Coventry's consistency looks set to continue. Coventry brought in a large set of players in the summer, following the departure of Hamer and Gyorkares for a combined 38m euros. And carried a large scale squad swap out using the funds. So there strong end to last season didn't really continue as they bedded these new players in. Simms hasn't been a great success. But the likes of Van Ewijk, Kitching, Sakamoto, Collins are playing well now. Haji Wright should also be back fit soon. And their star and creative talisman O'Hare seems to be fully recovered from injury and making the difference. They'll have a strong end to the season.

If Norwich somehow got into the play offs they would be by far the weakest team of the 4

I’d not want WBA after what their Poundland Mourinho manager did to us at their place.
