Arsey? You are unable to answer the question.
I'll help you out. Gerrard and Beale led Villa to the 14th place in the Premier League before the latter left for QPR.
So was 14th place for Villa a 'success' you are talking about?
It was their second season in the Prem. They finished 17th the season before. They'd just lost Grealish. They were in freefall under Smith when he got sacked. Gerrard steadied the ship very well. Not massive success but still promising.
Why are you ignoring the other success I mentioned and honing in on one thing?
And yes you're being incredibly arsey and defensive about a simple question that you yourself have yet to answer. Weird thing to get so worked up about, about some random football manager

14th place a 'success' then??? I don't think Villa fans would agree with you. You could say 'little improvement'. That would have been much more appropriate.
I am not ignoring anything what you said. The bloke is a fraud, if you don't believe me ask Rangers and Sunderland fans.
And what other 'success'? Winning a few games with QPR and dropping them after over 3 months? Was it yet another 'success' of his? Moreover a few weeks before dropping QPR he had rejected Wolves job because he said he was ... loyal to QPR.
That was normal questions from me which you have been unable to answer. Just the questions so don't be rattled.

I think he was credited with a good chunk of Gerrard's success at Rangers rather than Villa.
He does seem to be harshly spoken about. He did a good (albeit very short term) job at QPR and then had a 72% win rate at Rangers (better than Gerrard managed and Van Bronckhorst who he followed). Sunderland fans seemed to despise him from the off and he was up against it from the start.

Rangers yes he can have a credit for the job he did with Gerrard but never with Villa.
As for his sole managerial job with Rangers. The less said the better.
Better as a coach certainly than a manager.

For a newly promoted team 14th is absolutely a success.
The only question you asked me was about Villa, which I answered. The only question I've asked you is why is he a fraud. Just to be clear, having a few bad spells as a manager doesn't make someone a "fraud". I thought Paul Cook was awful, clearly he has talent but just didn't fit our club. I acknowledge that that doesn't make him a fraud. Unfortunately I don't care enough to ask Rangers and Sunderland fans, so was hoping you'd enlighten me.
But you seem like an aggressive man who gets wound up very easily so I won't bother asking anymore.

A few posts about you said: 'It was their second season in the Prem. They finished 17th the season before'.
Moreover ....that 14th place was their THIRD season in the Premier League !!! Not a first one It is a pure comedy from you.
Anything else to say?

I didn't like how it really lent in to the integrity & loyalty stuff at QPR when he reportedly turned down a move (can't remember who that was to), only to ditch them a few weeks later for Rangers. That's the way of the world, we all get it, and no doubt a very hard job to say no to having been there as Gerrard's assistant, but he was so nauseatingly OTT about his integrity that he looked a right berk to then leave so soon.
TBH he did alright at QPR, they're no great shakes and he got some good results there. I don't think he was bad at Rangers either, they weren't as good as Celtic but generally beat the rest of the guff they played against.
I have a bit of sympathy for him now, to be appointed and sacked 2 months later reflects more on those doing the hiring and firing than it does on Beale. They're desperately short of a #9 and clearly haven't managed to address that in the January window. Sunderland have got some decent players, to oversee bottom half form is disappointing, but it's a bit too early to be judging him IMO. If you're going to hire a manager in December then at least give them the season and a full pre season and judge them 12-15 games into next season.

Yeah, I can't say he is someone that I've ever really warmed to from bits I've seen and heard. I just think 'fraud' is rather harsh on the reality of his on pitch stats at QPR/Rangers.
He went into Sunderland and replaced a manager that was generally loved in Mogga by fans and players alike (and we all know why - he was a top bloke doing an admirable job). They weren't having him from the start and it's an uphill battle from there. Their fans wanted him out even before we beat them a month ago! It's seemed almost untenable from the get go.

Let's not forget though that what he done with his player last Saturday was shocking.
Shake the boys hand and then deal with it between closed doors.
Showed total lack of respect to him and the rest of the players.

Yeah I agree, on paper his CV is alright. If I were him I'd be spinning it that I did really well at QPR, got a big move to Rangers off the back of that and fell short to a better side in Celtic, but generally had a high win % (you've got to go back 10 years and 10 managers to find a higher one), and was then only given 5 minutes at Sunderland. 2 months mid season, in a hectic schedule simply isn't anywhere near enough time to implement anything.
I'm sure he'll get another job at Championship level, it'll be a big one for him as he stock will be right up again if he does well.
