I met someone who was a young player for Cardiff In the mid-90s and played in a few South Wales derby, he said it’s (or was then) mad.
As a player, you don’t normally take that much notice of the crowd when the game is going on, but in one derby at Ninian Park, the game got held up as there were literally running battles in the Main Stand. Not just a bit of isolated fighting, but hundreds on each side chasing each other backwards and forwards across the stand. |  |

Watching on TV Cardiff look rubbish so far, much worse than against us last week. I don’t know why we always play teams they raise the game against us, Boro away was the only game I thought the opposition were poorer than their usual standards but that was due to them having multiple first team players out. I won’t be surprised if Sheff Wed come out with all guns blazing at us after their meek capitulation to Leeds at home last week. 🤷🏻♂️ |  | | |
