Basically we need to go into that game within 2 points of the top 2. If we manage that then we have it totally in our hands and nothing anyone else can do about it.
Feeling very much like last season. Re-arranged game, two back to back away fixtures against play off contenders within 3 days of each other and then into a 'plum' home game which could secure us promotion (I hope!). [Post edited 21 Mar 2024 16:08]

The only alternative was the 16th, which would've meant Watford on 10th, Boro 13th and Cov 16th. I'm not sure that's a lesser of 2 evils tbh.
Whenever its played it's going to be a tough game against a really good side. Would be great to go into that 2 week break after Boro in 2nd, have the time on the training ground to recharge the batteries and attack the final 3 to get us over the line. Might also mean Hirst is a bit closer to contention too. |
