I wonder how many times a man needs to cross a road and/or walk against the flow of a demonstration to get home or indeed find a confrontation! Lucky for him the Met finally filled the void.
Without ignoring the inappropriate words of the plod, it's clear that in Gideon Falter he was facing a right royal pain in the arse for about 15 minutes and showed enormous tolerance and patience.
If the Arabs living in Israel had to deal with policing like that they might start to believe they lived in a genuine democracy.

Gideon clearly has an agenda though and has been doing this for months, even once driving an ‘advertising’van through a protest (or trying to).

So this highlights another Police mistake: He wasn't being protected by the police for being openly Jewish, but rather protected by the police despite being a nasty Palestinian-home-snatching, Police provoking twonk.

Unless the man was trying to drive it into where a crowd of protestors were gathered, you'd been asked by the Police not too before and you had a record of trying to do a similar thing multiple times.

And some of those threads have then gone (frequently spawning “what happened to that thread?” follow-up threads).

Mr Falter clearly doesn't realise that for every poster showing a kidnapped Israeli child displayed on the streets of London, there would likely be 10 posters of Palestinian children detained by the IDF and INP..
Our police have obviously decided that such a poster war will only escalate tensions between supporters of either side in the current conflict.
I'm all for anti racism campaign groups but they risk being counter-productive if they use provocative activism to get their messages across.

As I said in my post, what the police initially said was wrong.
However, he is also known to the police and the background and context of his actions previously, which are very much relevant in the overall context, are going unreported.
Both are wrong.
