I'm sure you're right, especially given the adverse publicity which will make it hard for her to get votes from the members. It might have been different had it been earlier in the electoral process, when an established candidate (a former soldier) wouldn't have been in place, and I suppose there's always the possibility of a place in the Lords |  | |  |
