Over before it’s started. on 21:50 - May 19 by Reus30 | I started reading your post and let out and audible sigh. All your points are valid but this new record has a big old fat asterisk next to it until the 115 charges are brought ahead. In the meantime, the premier league have took a big old dump on the history of football by letting these title wins happen without penalty and by not governing their league properly. Also they had the most tin pot pitch invasion I have ever seen today. Pathetic. |
I think those charges need to be resolved one way or the other, as otherwise this could damage the Premier League's reputation. The other clubs getting points deductions and then them being reduced on appeal isn't a good look either, and some delays can ultimately determine what leagues teams are in. The Premier League's TV contracts are collosal, but may have reached a peak and start to wain if the title races are not seen to be fair, competitive and exciting. The cost of TV subscriptions is rising, and advertising is increasing. [Post edited 19 May 2024 23:28]

The only reason they won the league this year is because Ipswich Town weren't in it. 2024/25 will be a different story. |
To be fair, they play eight games less than us.

That’s their problem. | |
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

City have a top manager who will no doubt add two or three more players and get rid of some that will surprise. Utd have spent millions on players such as Podgba at 90 million and he didn't give them one good season whilst with them. McKenna and co have the right idea in thoroughly checking out a player, their social media and everything connected to them. But many just buy via agents who send them a video of the players best minutes.

You obviously didn’t see the one Norwich did after the play off semi against us!!!! Fwiw I say fair play to the City fans for doing it, no other fanbase does it when they win the league. The tin pot side of it is the players sprinting as fast as they could to get off!!

They need a striker. Isak or Gyokeres would be good. Think the difference between the 2 was just that Haaland can pop up and score a hattrick when he fancies it and Arsenal don't have a striker who can.
