I'm quietly optimistic about this signing but the Spammer I know wasn't too bothered about keeping him even when it looked as though he'd sign a new deal with them. Let's not go overboard thinking we've signed a superstar. Hopefully he's a solid player at this level.
Similarly, what do we do with Axel? He was solid enough, but he didn't really stand out in the league below. If we had a game tomorrow and everyone was fit, he wouldn't get in ahead of Clarke or any of our first choice cbs for me. |

I may be wrong but it would not surprise me Davis out Johnson can fill in and at present we can play Clarke or Tuanzebe right back I think a quality centre half more pressing within the back four. | | | |
