That's the gamble isn't it

You either play safe. Go down and try and go again.

Or you spend with the view that you will stay up and plan on how to become a stable prem side.

Get in a few with high potential and even if you go down then an opportunity to cash in. Hutchinson being the obvious current example.

It's the most exciting transfer window we've potentially ever had.

Where have I heard that this Hull owner is a nightmare to do business with?

Not surprised based on his live interview with sky just now. But he does say he they want to go they can go.

Assuming this is all true we’re certainly not just happy to make up the numbers.

These ARE the days!

This really is very encouraging indeed, maybe I’ve got my Blue tinted glasses on but we appear to be certainly ready to buy well and give this season a real good go. TATD!

May be a daft question but is there any PSR advantage in signing players in a joint deal. Say it’s £35m for both, do you have to declare a breakdown to complete the deal or, if we got a £40m bid for one of them after one or two seasons, could you then declare their price of purchase to be £10 (of the £35) and therefore making a greater profit?

In the case of Philogene it would be in Hull's interest to understate his share of any combined price with Greaves to reduce the % sell on money owed to Aston Villa.
