Sorry if already discussed but now the GK spot has seemingly been filled the obvious gap in the squad now is adding another CM.

Other than Sheaf which was reported about a month ago and some loose links to Downes have there been any other rumours?

West Ham seem happy to let Downes go so if he was our first choice I would have imagined that would have been a done deal by now.

Now that would be a hell of a signing. I have seen a bit of him at Celta Vigo and would be a great fit here. Has a bit of aggression, but controlled. Not the quickest, but a quick brain. If we can get him, I think you will be excited by him.
