You can see how well he's going to fit into how we play with his strength and hold up play. Looks a bargain to me. Pleasingly, many of the clips used are those where he utterly destroyed N*rwich, which goes some way to explain why the OinkUn thinks none of our signings would get into their team!

Pace, strength, technique etc. McKenna could works wonders with him. £15m feels a little overpriced though, on the body of evidence of his work to date. Mind you, I believe we got Greaves for an absolute steal so it evens out.

I suppose I've only seen highlights, but for me it's not about what he's done (goals scored, assisted etc.) but about what he's shown he can do, both athletically and skills-wise, add in cleverness and commitment and then think what KMc can do with those raw (or half processed) ingredients. Big yes for me on value.

Speaking of half-and-half, this abomination is available on Etsy for the excellent price of just £86.42:

I think he has everything to be a success in this team and I remember thinking after he played at PR that he's the closest thing I've seen to Hirst in terms of attributes. In my mind though, £15m sounds like a lot for his current body of work (maybe 5m more than I was expecting). I think that's based on the fact that we got Hirst at the price we did and he's been fantastic. I really am expecting big things from GH next season, I think if he stays fit he could be our standout player. If we had him for the entire season just gone, I think it's reasonable to say we would have had at least another 6 points on the board. The thing with Delap is that if he's any good we'll lose him to City anyway. I guess we don't know if there is a set price or if they just have first option, but it feels almost like a loan. He'll start off as a right winger primarily but will develop into a striker I suspect Can probably also play as a 10?

I think we’ll be ok there…he’d have to get to a crazy high level for City to want him to spearhead their attack in the next few years. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Or he has a brilliant season like Solanke, we value him at £60-£70m and they have a £40m buyback and they buy him to sell him on again.
