Town TV Annual Subscription... 19:56 - Jul 17 with 2006 views | TheMoralMajority | Am I reading correctly, that the annual subscription, which is still active for me until September, does not entitle me to watch the pre-season friendlies, and I would have to pay extra? Whilst I appreciate that these friendlies were not explicitly covered by the subscription, it seems a bit low to be asking for more money for a period I am covered for. Oh well, guess I won't be watching, as I'm certainly not double paying.
| ...but do signatures really work? |

Last year’s Innsbruck Cup game was shown live on Town TV for subscribers at no additional cost. I don’t have a problem paying 3 quid a game, I should add. Seems reasonable.

Yeah but that was a ruse to get people to initially subscribe, the first ever live event on it.

I don't live in the UK, so I got most games with my annual subscription. It's why I bought it. At the end of the day, it's just some friendlies, so no bother... Just if I pay for 1 year's Sky Subscription, I'd expect to get 1 year of Sky. Not 9 months, then have to pay the same as everyone else who did not have a subscription for any additions. It was probably more to test back end services that they could cope with a certain level of traffic. Albeit it wouldn’t have been proper test in terms of demand.

Always been the case that you can choose either way so I think it’s perfectly reasonable for it to be the same with the televised games

You wont get the games with an annual subscription this season. Basically the annual subscription became completely pointless after the Huddersfield game. I paid monthly and cancelled mine with less than a month of the last season to go.
