Question re Membership 09:22 - Jul 19 with 2363 views | ThisIsMyUsername | If one were to buy a Membership for the new season, but was not a member last year, and did not purchase any tickets directly from the Club, would they realistically be able to purchase any tickets this season? I've read the guidance on the ITFC website but it's slightly unclear: EXAMPLE SALES WINDOWS FOR HOME LEAGUE GAMES IN 2024/25 Monday, 10am – Ballot opens for 24/25 members who were members in 2023/24 season & attended at least one fixture during the 23/24 season (25% of available seats (available capacity at the time of ballot launch)) Tuesday, 5pm – Ballot closes Wednesday – Successful ballot applications notified Friday, 10am - Sales begin to successful ballot winners Monday, 10am – Members who are NOT season ticket holders. Wednesday, 10am – Members who are season ticket holders. Friday, 10am – Season ticket holders *The Club reserves the right to add additional priority levels for sales. Does the 'Monday 10am' section apply regardless of whether you were a member and/or bought a ticket last season? If I understand correctly, the initial ballot is for those who meet the above criteria. By the time it gets to Monday 10am will there even be any tickets left for sale?

Question re Membership on 09:30 - Jul 19 with 2315 views | SmithersJones | Yes, you’d have the same chance as every other member who misses out in the ballot. The ballot only allocates 25% of tickets. So Monday 10am is when the other 75% go on sale. The “must have seen one game last season” only applies to the ballot.

Thanks Also as someone who wasn't a member last year, and also only visited games as gift of someone else, *and* won't be able to apply to many games this year because of lack of free time and expenses of tickets and travel, it's good to know that 75% (even if 75% of not many) carry over to general members sale. So I may consider Membership.

Thanks. I suppose one negative to this system is that a lot of people will end up sitting by themselves. My brother has already bought a Membership today and I am considering doing so as well. So sitting next to other Membership holders seems to require both to be on the system at the same time in order to buy tickets right next to each other.

Add him to your friends and family. Then if he's a member you can buy two tickets and allocate one to him.

Ah OK, I hadn't read about that. So we should both add each other. Thanks for the heads up.

Do we know roughly how many that 25% will be ? Around a 1000 tickets ? Also do you actively have to apply to be in each ballot or will you automatically be entered if you are eligable?

How does this work, though? If able to buy one of the 75% remaining tickets as a normal Member surely it only permits buying one ticket, not two or more?

Everyone you're buying for would need to be a member. If TIMU and his brother were both members and linked their accounts, either of them could buy two tickets. At the checkout you need to say who the tickets are for so he would select his brother for the second one. The system then lets it go through if both are members. If one wasn't a member it would block it.

OK, thanks. then this will seriously lower the availability of that 75% as many people will have at least one person in friends/family and of course they would buy a second ticket if offered the chance.

Agree. By my calculations there is only going to be 2250-2500 in that 75% once you allow for everything else so it will be a mad scramble. Tickets will be gone by 10:05 each Monday.

No, either one of them could buy the two tickets for themselves and the other, but they wouldn't BOTH be able to buy two tickets, as it is only one per member, whoever is purchasing them.

Yes. i get that. but only one needs to get lucky in the scramble for tickets. so really it doubles the likelihood they will get tickets whereas those who are one person, and will only be buying one ticket, have chances reduced. I know in the scheme of things it isn't' a biggie, just working out the odds.

Yep. Never making it past that stage to 'ST holders who are members', like me. Which is why I've bought a membership for my Mrs.....

So if you had many brothers with linked accounts you could buy many tickets??

On the flip side of that, the one person looking for one seat will have more availability open to them as they only need to find a single seat anywhere as opposed to 2 together somewhere.

You could do, but very unlikely you will find more than a couple of seats together. Second half of last season it was really hard to get two seats together, let alone the three I was looking for, so my poor old dad had to sit apart for some matches.
