Giving a really good account ourselves here.. good press 12:54 - Aug 3 with 6620 viewsunstableblue

Good breaking of lines

Very good moments from Taylor and our keeper

Pitch is a little waterlogged though

Poll: What level of support are you bringing to Portman Road today?

Very good so far!

Could be 3 or 4 nil already - Leif missed an absolute sitter (albeit from range).

Muric is huge...
Morsy will probably get a yellow...
And - we all agree Harness is probably not good enough, but I'm starting to think he has improved a lot - perhaps don't write him off just yet!

Re Harness:

My observation over last season is that some of our players are better at coming on as subs than others.

In the second half of last season Harness was one who came on "hot"- on it and up to speed straight away.

I think it is possible that Harness will be the surprise "keep" of the summer, as he does what McKenna trusts him to do what he asks of him, as Jackson was last season.

Last season we needed to win 65%+ of our games. This year we need to average slightly over a point a game. A solid, dependable, athletic bench option may be just as invaluable in helping us to hold onto draws in the Prem, as flair players were in turning in match-winning cameos in the Championship.

Pencil Marcus in for a squad number!

Nice to see some of the U21 players getting some minutes, they ran their socks off yesterday.

We went off the boil as Carr entered the fray as Hoffenheim pressed higher up; but we’re now back on top

I like Edmundson. And whisper it Axel has been better than Johnson.

That last line has not surprised me at all and not because I think Axel is good enough to be a premier league right back. Clarke best of the bunch imo.

Absolute rubbish.

Johnson is superior to Clark in every department and you are basing it on pre season friendlies.

Ridiculous premature comment.

I quite enjoyed that. Looked more like ourselves. Light up front but Delap is a unit. Doesn't seem to be much finesse about him! Taylor was better in the 10 role, Muric looks good. Overall quite promising but Liverpool will be something different.

Do remember that Clarke played through considerable pain last season and with an injury that reduced his ability to burst over short ground. When fully fit Clarke may surprise many.

Taylor didn’t play in the number 10 role?

No you're right. He did get forward quite a lot mind. Hard to tell on a small screen sometimes.
