I think we may well find only bringing in 5 early doors and having time to bed them in works in our favour. It hardly ever works bringing in 10 in one go, so in some ways having 3-4 weeks woth the first set of recruits might just be ideal.
This team has performed as well as any in Europe the past two seasons, and we just added 5 extra on top. [Post edited 10 Aug 2024 9:11]

We don't know how long Broadhead is out for and we can't just buy more players because we have players out with injury! It's part and parcel of football, you just have to manage when you have injuries.
Also, your didn't answer Gavs question. Why would we need all 3 to replace 2 players (even discounting the fact Broadhead doesn't need a replacement)? We still have a limited amount of players were allowed in our squad and we have to adhere to PSR. |  | | |

Both Odobert and Kent have played in midfield , odobert has played on both wings. I would be very surprised to see szmodics played out wide with our current squad. | | | |

I think one of those, preferably Szmodics (as he can play up front if needed and is clear he'd be ready made for the way we play). I think.we have to be realistic and maybe Harness will have to be 3rd choice for L10 when Broadhead is fit. It's going to take several windows to get all the players we want. | |

All 3's main position is the left 10, we have plenty of cover for the centre and right 10's. We need at east another CM and another 9 for me to feel comfortable with our business. Ideally, we'd want to add more "back up" players but the 10's are probably out most stocked position once everyone is back fit. | | | |
