Really good player - saw him at Stade de Reims under Will Still.

Perfect blend of competitive steel and technique.

Would be a really good signing, and a strong partner for Morsy.


Sounds like it went well at Reims and less so at Napoli.

Sometimes I like those sort of players more.

As it is clear they talent, but then more time they have a slight chip on their shoulder. I can only go of Youtube highlights, but he looks a nice profile. Happy with that

More likely whatever the issue is is considered less of a risk if you're not paying £10 million for him! Medicals are largely about risk.

On the face of it he played 35 or so games last season (26 in the league) for Napoli so he doesn't appear to have had any major injuries.

I guess as Phil says is if you're obliged to shell out 10mil for him you may take a slightly more risk adverse view. I'm sure we're not going to sign anyone who we have major doubts about their short/medium term fitness.
