A season ticket holding Mackem is suggesting he is part of the Clark deal.

That may not be overly surprising.

Like Taylor, the back to back promotions mean he is very unlikely to get much game time.

Makeweight in the Clarke deal might make sense.

That said, there is a player there and I'd have no issues keeping him!!!!

I'd be surprised if we let him go before Ladapo, although a quick Google suggests they were interested in him before we swooped-in in January.

Might be something in it. We would be well covered with Hirst / Delap / Broja if we get the latter through the door.

Loan possibly. Zero chance he goes permanently though.

I had a poke around the Sunderland forum earlier and spotted this rumour, it was mentioned as a season-long loan. I'd be more than happy if that was the case, that'd be a great move for him and a chance to get some quality Champ experience under his belt.

Don’t mind him going out on loan but Sunderland? Surely a bigger team wanted him.. I mean little Sunderland who wants to go there.

It would be insane to let him go 6 months after signing. Loan would make a lot of sense though.

Wouldn't hate to keep him around for the first half of the season and then loan him out in January. Think he can probably offer something still.

As already said, surely Ladapo goes first - would maybe keep
him as cover for Hirst’s injury, then a January loan makes sense.

Can definitely see a player in Al Hamadi. I think he will eventually be very decent and for a Championship club he's ideal. Would think there's some truth in a loan deal. As for Ladapo I think he will be sold. Just a pity he didn't have a better Championship season. But what Freddie is, is what Freddie is. He's nothing brilliant, but can do a job given the right club at the right level.

Is there some kind of in house joke about Lapado still being here, is it a wind up?

I thought I was hallucinating when I saw Lapado and Harness spearheading our attack against the Gerries.

No bad feeling and all that but he wasn’t up to champ level. Didn’t Charlton feck him off?
