Anyone interested in the Sales 'Profile' for Southampton Tickets... 10:36 - Sep 6 with 4760 views | tommcd | 2736 seats were available for purchase within the 'points-based' sales windows. 588 (21.49% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window. 667 (24.38%) seats sold in the 25+ window. 780 (28.51%) seats sold in the 20+ window. 659 (24.09%) seats sold in the 15+ window. 42 (1.54%) seats sold in the 10+ window. Interesting that demand in the 20+ window was greater than in the 15+ window (possibly skewed due to people from higher brackets deferring purchase until this window to buy with lower-point friends). Make of that what you will in terms in your likelihood of getting tickets, when to 'safely' wait until if you have lots of points but want to sit with mates that have fewer points etc. [Post edited 6 Sep 2024 10:44]

Anyone interested in the Sales 'Profile' for Southampton Tickets... on 12:48 - Sep 6 with 4000 views | Meadowlark | We bought three tickets. Although we could have purchased 1 ticket in each of the top three brackets we waited for 20+ so that we could get three together. As long as we can sit in our allocated seats we'll be OK.

Nope, just from pulling info from the public ticket platform each day. I plan to do the same for future sales when I can, over time it should give a good rough-indication of how many Members fall in each category (and will probably demonstrate a trend of the 'rich' getting richer while the 'poor' make no progress).

Sadly not, I didn't think to do it until the Southampton sale. I'll try and do the same thing on future Away sales though, be interesting (as someone who like numbers and stats) to see the trends etc. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

There's no logical reason why the club shouldn't publish this. Same with the ballots. Arsenal publish the % chance of success.

Capacity of St Mary's is 32k+, so our away allocation should have been at least the full 3000 required by Premier League rules. The 2736 went on points-based sale. 60 would be retained for the ballot. Leaving surplus of 204, presumably retained for disabled fans + carers (which I have no visibility of), player's families & friends and Club hospitality. [Post edited 6 Sep 2024 14:03]

You can purchase disabled + carers tickets online now. However, no doubt some people still purchase them from the disabled liaison officer. You have to wait until you reach the points category that apply to you before purchasing though.

Anyone interested in the Sales 'Profile' for Southampton Tickets... on 14:16 - Sep 6 with 3528 views | textbackup | In the next few away games there’s a load I know moving up to bracket 30+ and 25+ So I can see a 35+ and even a 40+ getting added sooner rather than later. Great work on the numbers tho. I love stuff like this!

Brentford will be a smaller allocation of ~1,725 so will likely sell out at 20+, potentially 25+ (if enough have moved from 20+ to 25+ by then)

Anyone interested in the Sales 'Profile' for Southampton Tickets... on 16:39 - Sep 6 with 3133 views | Dennyx4 | In relation to your last point, some in the 15+ category at the beginning of the season will now be in the 20+ band. However very few will have moved from 10+ to 15+ as the sales have not reached that far.

They could be much more transparent but it will shine a light on the number of tickets that get “sold” outside the points system. 7% for Southampton, I’d wager it will be much higher for the top six clubs where sponsors, friends of people in high places et al flex their muscles.

Anyone interested in the Sales 'Profile' for Southampton Tickets... on 19:08 - Sep 6 with 2703 views | HighgateBlue | That's really interesting actually, thanks for that. I suppose that some 15+ bods may well have thought that they would not manage to get tickets and so made other plans already? That might account for the lack of 15+ demand.
