I think we were high pressed out of the game for vast swathes of the match
We showed a lot of promise after the subs - this is very promising. We have options off the bench that caused problems to a top 10 team from last season. Lots to take away from this one. |  |

We had a few good chances to put a good pass into the channel for the winger to run onto but we got it really wrong every time.
Need to improve on the break to give us a better chance of stealing games like this. Maybe just give the ball to Delap every time?

Subs changed the game for us today - although to be fair I think Brighton threw everything at us in the first 60 and our starters absorbed that so well.

Yeah some of the those attempted passes were poor weren't they.
I just think clip it over the top and let our runners do what they are good at. Neither burns not ogbene are gonna beat a man facing upto them so get it behind for them.
Think Brighton did a number on davis.. but felt szmodics didn't really help on this side of things which kinda showed when clarke came on. | |
