Norwich being a lower league club?


Yep, one level below. Lewes were the division above till recently but they seem to be dropping like a stone. One slightly sad aspect of growth of women’s football is the random small clubs that had surprisingly good women’s teams are all regressing to the mean. Whereas big clubs are inevitably funding their way till the top. Man U didn’t even have a women’s team 5+ years ago and now they’re a top WSL side.

I'm surprised given the strides made by the womens game in the last decade and the potential of how big it could be in 20 years from now that Town haven't thrown more money at it to get to the Championship quicker.
