Everton sold for over £400M..... on 13:53 - Sep 24 with 2379 views | Swansea_Blue | Gamechanger have done very nicely out of Marcus Evans’ failure. £70m profit off the back of our L1 promotion and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re now worth somewhere in the £300-350M range. Not that they’ll realise that until they sell of course.

Everton sold for over £400M..... on 13:55 - Sep 24 with 2348 views | Marshalls_Mullet | To be fair, the purchase price is far less than the cost of their new stadium. (Latest estimated costs are £750m). In the right hands, there is a lot of potential there.

If they could delay the potential for another year, that'd be smashing. Last thing we need is a resurgent Everton.

The owners made a lot of the investment back by selling shares to new investors.

No. Additional shares were issued and sold to the new investors, diluting the GC20/ORG holding. Otherwise the money would have gone to the latter, not the club. In reality, even that diluted holding is likely to be worth more than the original investment.

Presumably the deal includes a lot of debt clearing, so we can’t really comment on value without knowing that. It looks like the buyers already had 200m owed to them by Everton, would assume there are many other debts and liabilities too relating to the stadium and past transfers. There’s also the competence factor, how many owners have actually had the rapid impact of GC20. Not many, and even then it took us time to translate to success on the pitch.

Everton sold for over £400M..... on 06:37 - Sep 25 with 1230 views | ElephantintheRoom | Not really. Purchase price includes £200 million of debt paid off - and a new stadium thrown in. Our cowboys don’t have a stadium to sell though they have unloaded some of the losses to the Indians.

are you sure? They said they sold 40% of the club, which would indicate they sold existing shares.

I think they already look decent / just a confidence thing / that njaie or how ever you spell it looks amazing / that and keeping Calvert Lewis fit and I don’t think they will be any where close to the bottom . I do realise I said keeping Calvert Lewin fit and that’s a bit like finding a leprechaun at the end of the rainbow.
