Half the teams we played looked beaten as they walked out. Hammering Man Utd (saw us do that a few times), beating Liverpool at home (never away) being better than most season after season- situation normal. Today’s entitled clubs? Chelsea? Rubbish. Spurs - always beat them. Arsenal? Usually got the better of them. Man City? Ordinary.
Struggled against Revie’s dirty Leeds early 70s then matched and overtook them. Always an edge to those games though.
