If Axel can't play I'll personally be amazed if it's anyone other than Ben Johnson. Think some of the criticism of him was over the top and missed out on the fact that his league starts came against the Man City and Liverpool in an evolving team that is much more settled now.
He also has lots of familiarity with the players he might be up against tomorrow. | |

Going from McKenna's usual approach, he prefers full backs on the bench to centre backs. Plus Clarke can cover the middle if need be too. If Clarke isn't ready to play a part then, yes, Woolfenden will probably be next in line. | |
