Hutchinson - Good player, but not hit the heights of last season yet
Delap - Bloody fantastic
Szmodics - Still a goal scorer in the Prem, but not seen the best of him yet I feel
Greaves - Looks a top player
Clarke - Clearly very talented, but no goal contributions yet. Still feeling his way into the system.
Muric - Very shaky, I don't have confidence in him anymore.
O'Shea - Not looked worth it to me.

Of our big money signings: 2 are top tier and 3 I think are good or will come good. The only ones looking really poor right now are O'Shea and Muric. They might come good, but at the moment they are the only ones that look like they have been pissed up the wall and Delaps value has increased by more than those two cost anyway.

I'm not sure any of those 4 have added much value over their purchase price.

Delap hasn’t added value above his £15m purchase price?

Looking at the Chaplin pass to Hirst for the 2nd and it does make you wonder how we'd be getting on with largely the same core 11 as last season. The cohesion clearly counts for a lot and can trump talent on occasion.

Emotions will be high right now and who can blame us. It’s been a really tough start for us and we would have hoped to of secured a win by now. The team will be equally gutted about the result today, we just need to keep supporting them

Agreed. It was a gut wrenching way to drop points today but we need to remember how far we’ve come in a short time and be realistic.

Given the volume, we’ll have good and bad in that. I think it’s already evident who is who.

My only issue is that Muric has not earned his place... Walton did nothing wrong against Liverpool but still lost his place to a negative result.... He may turn out to be a good buy but imo needs to really learn the system first..... we were spoilt by having a gk who could have easily played in midfield for a middling league one team last year.... thats to say not an exceptional footballer but a very decent one!...... and he really knew when not to put it back into play!
