Feel really sorry for Harry Clark 14:21 - Oct 27 with 1248 viewsCheltenham_Blue

Lewis-Potter was giving him a torrid time, but the media are still ploughing on with the “worst Premier League debut ever?” headlines.

The how the goal has gone down as an own goal is unbelievable and there’s no way on earth that was a second yellow card.

Poll: Is it more annoying when builders

I do. But also I don't even play football. But even I know if a long diag is going over your head you don't press the player who is receiving it. You place yourself between the goal and the player and stop him until cover comes

Running to the player was a simple invitation to flick it on and run onto it. It was very non league of clark that.

Harry’s great and adds an attacking threat, but defensively in the prem i have my doubts. We need Axel back asap

And then to continue to foul him even when the player has beaten you.

See it so much nowadays, make one mistake and then compound it by trying to make up for it.

Having said that, I actually think he played alright beside that. Very close to making an unreal clearance, Muric touch just took all the speed off the ball and then the second yellow isn't remotely close to being a second yellow.

Worst thing is.

We are all praying for a quick return of tuanzebe. Who let's not forget isn't even a right back..

What we need is to see and understand why we signed Johnson.

It looked like he was distracted by being pissed off at the players ahead of him, so just took his eye off things for a split second. The OG is bonkers; it looked like it was on target and going in anyway.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I'm amazed we weren't interested in Jaden Bogle who Leeds ended up picking up

I can't vouch for his defensive game but he looks good going forward

Johnson maybe one of those who comes good but is still pretty raw

Could easily be one of those who looks very good in the Championship, he can also play in central midfield?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
Poll: How much for Omari

I think what we need to learn is we are getting nothing where VAR is concerned. We are the new boys and whilst we have a huge history it counts for nothing. Every mistake we make is being punished. Until we learn to play the Premier League game we will continue to lose games. I think currently we need to get points where that be ugly or not. We can obviously score, but there are problems involving our defence and the midfield being strong enough. Yesterday Omari was missing. But can we hand on heart say je'd have been the difference between winning and losing. I fear not. He like many has struggled for the kind of form from last season. There is too much naivety showing through currently. I do believe we will come good. But just as Sir Bobby when relegation stared him in the face he brought in Frank Ckarke and Jimmy Robertson both of whom had more experience at the top flight. Maybe KM needs to look at bring in a couple of more experience older Premier League players in January.

For me we had done what was required to win the game until ogbene went off yet we carried on playing the same way... we needed to shut up shop a tad. Drop the defence deeper than neither goal happens.

We not only need to see the players learning this season but we also need to see it from KM.
