Let's hope this doesn't reignite any speculation for KM. That would be all we need. Presumably the position we find ourselves in currently (temporarily) won't have enhanced his chances of being in the running for the Utd job.

Prem recruiting departments will be looking at the statistical analysis of our side in the prem this season and we're bottom for any meaningful metric that they'd look at to see how McKenna is adjusting our squad and tactical set-up to suit.

His stock certainly hasn't improved thus far. I think we may start to see some more significant changes to the way we set up in games moving forwards and if that pays off then of course, his name will be mentioned in these circles again.

Kompany's Burnley won only 5 league games last season & were comfortably relegated.. They signed a lot of players, some for big money. Only £2.5m for Muric though - we were mad giving them £8m.
Bayern still paid a reported £10m in compensation to get Kompany from Burnley.

Kompany got relegated and got one of the biggest jobs in Europe

Big difference, he played at the highest level which opens up doors.

That logic normally applies, but then Bayern took Vincent Kompany after everything he did (or didn't do) at Burnley last season.

I'd imagine Radcliffe will go for a 'name' though so McKenna will be way off their list.

Kompany had an illustrious playing career. I don't think there is anything to worry about in terms of mckenna leaving at this time. Still unproven as a manager in premier league.

Yep, but Kompany was a name and also one of those who's as rigid and stuck in his passing playing philosophy as Russel Martin this season is.

Which sounds a negative but seemingly not.
