But, that first goal was (IMO) brilliant football.
So fast, one touch, I think I even clapped! If we went down because of goals like that weekly I’d not care at all.

Not sure id stretch to good game if I'm honest.
Certainly not worthy of the pile on he has received (neither was Ben Johnson mind) but he is just far too rash. Whether its a penalty or not is up for debate, but it is really bad defending. The positioning to let KLP in behind is something we have just seen too much from Clarke in his time here imo. Always seems to keen to step up and win the ball which leaves space in behind, happened a couple times on Saturday.
Good thing is though, he is still young, still has time to improve and has the physical tools to do it. But for now, he is just too suspect defensively imo. [Post edited 29 Oct 2024 14:24]
