Downvote was for the irony. Being critical of Israel has often been weaponised as antisemitism and is a terrible thing. I believe even you have been guilty of that as far back as the Corbyn days. It's one of the things about this forum that kept me away - often it was blatantly dishonest.
Those of us just desperate for peace have often been silenced for fear of being labeled the very things we hate - and have fought most of our lives against. Years later, after finishing the army, I took a baseball bat between the eyes in a carpark in Springs, (still in South Africa) for making an anti-apartheid speech during a gig, and ended up in hospital for a week.
A few years later, was arrested and jailed for 3 nights for wearing a "Free Mandela" T-shirt - I was beaten during my stay there...
My best friend and drummer for 40 years is Jewish, as was my 1st wife - they would both tell you I am not antisemitic. I have tried to fight injustices, racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, homophobia and bigotry since I was a teenager - you are not qualified to judge me.
